Lovely stay with poached eggs perfection
Just finished a fab weekend! The yellow room was super charming and the owner was really friendly, giving us great tips on what to see around. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the poached eggs—so good! Only thing was the bathroom could use a bit of an update, just to match the lovely vibe of the rest of the place.

Charming Stay with Excellent Breakfast
I had a delightful stay in a cozy Double Room with Private Bathroom while exploring the rich heritage of Watchet. The highlight was the traditional English breakfast, exquisitely cooked with a personal touch, making each meal a gourmet experience. The unique decor throughout the house added to the historical charm, and Keith was incredibly welcoming, providing great local tips. the Wi-Fi connection could be better in some areas.

The breakfast was a highlight, especially the poached eggs – proper scrummy! Plus, the vibrant garden where we savored a delightful cream tea added to the charm of our stay. Keith and Sharron’s hospitality really made us feel like part of the family.
As a coeliac, I felt a tad let down by the lack of gluten-free options. gluten-free toast would have been a piece of cake! our kettle was a bit grimy and needed swapping – not ideal for tea lovers!

Charming decor filled with antiques and a keen attention to detail creates a cozy atmosphere. The vibrant garden area offers a delightful spot to unwind, and its proximity to local attractions makes exploration a breeze.
Noise can be an issue, with thin walls allowing sounds from adjacent rooms to seep through, potentially disrupting sleep. Some amenities could use an update. for instance, the kettle in my room needed a good clean, not ideal for someone who loves a good cup of tea. the breakfast service sometimes felt a bit rushed, especially during busier times, which could affect the leisurely vibe fans of bed and breakfasts often crave.

Had an awesome time with friends! We visited Wimbleball Lake Activities Centre and played some golf at Enmore Park. The rooms were comfy, and the decor unique. The garden is great for relaxing. Keith, the host, is super friendly and knows the area well. You won’t worry about parking. there are loads of spots nearby.
We did have a hiccup with breakfast timing. We needed it earlier, but they didn't accommodate that, which threw off our plans a bit.

The house is a treasure trove of antiques and art, instantly making you feel like you’ve walked into a different era. I had a lovely breakfast, with full English served up like it was a five-star restaurant, beans included!
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but it was worth every penny.

A quaint hotel features a lovely garden and a charming atmosphere. The superb breakfast included fresh strawberries and an excellent full English that left a strong impression. the room was somewhat tired, with a toilet that was quite noisy, disrupting a peaceful night. Despite a friendly staff member, breakfast timing issues led to overcooked items.
